More goblins for the Tale of 4th Gamers!

LOVELY! Those 4th ed. gobbos are maybe the only 4th ed. minis I like (as well as the stone trolls), but seem as rare (or expensive) as hen's teeth nowadays.

Yeah, I don't think many sold as (despite being beautiful models) the plastic goblin spearmen were cheaper and easier to get hold of in bulk.

Just seen your night goblins on the blog list - superb work. I was not a fan of the 4th edition goblins but you’ve made them sing. That colour scheme works really well

Theoretically yes, but I haven't actually. Can't see they'd be any worse than a plastic movement tray.

they normally have a lip to hold the sides of the slottabases, that's why i wondered.
shouldn't be too much of an issue if they're off the table after one turn!

The lip kinda helps keep them aligned, but doesn't offer much extra in the way of support. I've never had issues with flat pieces of car, MDF or HIPS so I don't imagine there'll be much problem with the timber. Only thing might be the thin foam snagging on the table surface.
