Uhu All purpose adhesive.. Acetone?

Doing a bit of polystyrene work and.. Uhu All purpose glue appears to Melt Polystyrene.. I wasn't aware of that..

I have no clue how I wasn't aware that UHU has Acetone in it but.. huh.. you would think acetone based products would be better labelled in this day and age ¬_¬

Yup. There's a specific UHU product called Hart which is designed for use with foam.

you sure? Uhu's website says that Hart:
"Not suitable for Styrofoam®, PE, PP, PA, POM, PTFE, silicone."
and as Styrofoam is a brand of XPS, it seams... that it doesn't.. Though they do one called 'POR' which says 'for polystryrene' ^_^

You're right, sorry I got that the wrong way around. Yes, POR is for polystyrene, Hart is the fast-setting one.
