2 Carts
Equipment: Hand weapon.
Special rules: On the road the waggons move 4” per turn if pulled by a pony, otherwise two Dwarves or four Elves can push a cart 1” up to a maximum of 3”. The road verges count as Difficult Ground and the Woods as Impassible Terrain.
The carts can be circled; they count as wooden barricades with T7 and W3 and can be set alight as wooden buildings.
If attacked by fire or within 4” of a burning building the ponies must make a Panic test.
2 Waggons
Equipment: Hand weapon.
Special rules: On the road the waggons move 4” per turn if pulled by a pony, otherwise two Dwarves or four Elves can push a cart 1” up to a maximum of 3”. The road verges count as Difficult Ground and the Woods as Impassible Terrain.

Wood Elves

Battlefield
The table should be approx. 3'x4'.
An approx. 4" wide road, with 4" wide verges, runs down the centre of the length of the table. The rest of the table is wooded.
Deployment
The Dwarves deploy first in column along the road with the tail of their column toching their own (short) edge.
Artheon and the Archer units deploy at the other end of the road or up to 6” off its side. The Wardancers deploy in the second turn up to 6” in from the centre of any table edge.
Victory Conditions
The Wood Elves are seeking to capture at least two carts and/or waggons whilst suffering minimal casualties.
The Dwarves are seeking to get all four carts and waggons off the opposite table edge whilst suffering minimal casualties.
The Dwarven relief column has left its understrength units at Geoid mine, both to recover and to bolster its defences should the Goblinoids seek to renew their attack. Meanwhile the rest of the small force is returning to their hold with the ore delivery. As they pass along the forest road they are halted by the emergence of a small force of Wood Elves demanding the payment of half their cargo in return for safe passage. The Elves even have the temerity to warn the Dwarves that there are Goblinoids operating in the area! .
